DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Was "EPS System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to EPS System Check EPS System Check:Electric Type.

2. P/S control module power supply and ground circuit check

Check power supply circuit and ground circuit for P/S control module referring to P/S Control Module Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check P/S Control Module Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check:Electric Type.

Is check result in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Repair or replace defective circuit.

3. Battery voltage check

Check voltage between positive (+) battery terminal and vehicle body ground with engine speed at 3000 rpm.

Is voltage 15.5 V or less?
YES -
Replace P/S control module.
NO -
Check charging system referring to Testing and Inspection Generator Test.
