DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Was "EPS System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to EPS System Check EPS System Check:Electric Type.

2. Battery voltage check

Check circuit fuse for P/S control module.
If OK, measure voltage between positive (+) battery terminal and vehicle body ground with engine running.

Is voltage 10 V or more?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Check charging system referring to Testing and Inspection Generator Test.

3. P/S control module power supply circuit check

Check power supply circuit and ground circuit for P/S control module referring to P/S Control Module Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check P/S Control Module Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check:Electric Type.

Is check result in good condition?
YES -
Substitute a known-good P/S control module and recheck.
NO -
Repair defective circuit.
