DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Was "Air Bag Diagnostic System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check:Advanced Air Bag.

2. Check DTC of SDM referring to "DTC Check: Advanced Air Bag".

Is there any DTC(s)?
YES -
Go to applicable DTC troubleshooting.
NO -
Go to Step 3.

3. Clear DTC of SDM referring to DTC Clearance DTC Clearance:Advanced Air Bag.

Is there DTC B1319?
YES -
Substitute a known good SDM and recheck. If DTC is still indicated, substitute a known good OCM and recheck.
NO -
System is in good condition.

NOTE:

Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.

- Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
- Clear DTCs referring to DTC Clearance DTC Clearance:Advanced Air Bag
, if any.
- Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check:Advanced Air Bag
to confirm that the trouble has been corrected.
