BCM Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery.
  2. Disable air bag system, see DISABLING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
  3. Remove glove box and passenger side instrument panel undercover, see INSTRUMENT PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Disconnect connectors and clamps from BCM and fuse box.
  5. Remove nuts (1), and then detach fuse box (2).

  6. Release hooks (1) and remove BCM (2) from fuse box.
