Perform Procedures Select Cable Adjustment
if check results are not satisfactory:

Check the following points:

- Check that engine starts at "P" and "N" ranges, and check that it does not start at other positions.
- Perform P Range Test "P" Range Test.
- Check that back-up light turns on when select lever is shifted to "R" range.
- Check that shift position indicator display is consistent with select lever position.
