Steering Force Check

1) Place vehicle on level surface and set steering wheel in straight-ahead position.
2) Check if tire inflation pressure is as specified and adjust the pressure if it is not as specified.
3) Start engine.
4) With engine idling, measure steering force when pulled in tangential direction by using spring balancer.

Steering force
: 30 N (3.1 kgf, 6.7 lbf) or less
