Relief Valve Removal and Installation

Relief Valve On-Vehicle Inspection

Removal

1) Recover refrigerant from A/C system referring to "Recovery" in Service and Repair Operation Procedure for Refrigerant Charge.
2) Remove right side engine undercover.
3) Remove relief valve (1) from A/C compressor (2).

Installation

Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.

- Apply specified compressor oil to new O-ring.

Compressor oil: 99000-99022-00E (Compressor oil (DH-PS, 250cc))

- Tighten relief valve to specified torque.

Tightening torque
Relief valve (a): 9.0 Nm (0.9 kgf-m, 7.0 lbf-ft)
