DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Was "ESP(R) System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to ESP System Check ESP(R) System Check.

2. ESP(R) control module power supply and ground circuits check

Check ESP(R) control module power supply circuit and ground circuit. ESP Control Module Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Repair ESP(R) control module power supply or ground circuits.

3. ESP(R) control module power supply voltage check

Measure battery voltage with engine running at 3000 rpm.

Is voltage between 9.4 V and 16.7 V?
YES -
Substitute a known-good ESP(R) control module and recheck DTC. ESP Hydraulic Unit / Control Module Assembly Removal and Installation
NO -
Check charging system. Testing and Inspection
