DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Was "Air Bag Diagnostic System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check.

2. SDM power circuit and ground circuit check

Check SDM power circuit and ground circuit.

Is SDM power circuit and ground circuit in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Repair or replace defective part.

3. DTC check

Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Disconnect "L04" connector.
Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".

Is DTC B1017 detected?
YES -
Substitute a known-good SDM and recheck DTC. SDM Removal and Installation
NO -
Intermittent trouble. Check for intermittent. Intermittent Connection and Poor Contact Inspection

NOTE:

Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.

- Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
- Clear DTCs, referring to DTC Clearance DTC Clearance
if any DTC is detected.
- Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check
to confirm that the trouble has been solved.
