Back Up Light Switch Removal and Installation: Removal

CAUTION:
Touching a hot exhaust No. 2 pipe will cause a burn.
Do not remove back up light switch until the exhaust system is cool.
Do not remove back up light switch until the exhaust system is cool.
NOTE:
When replacing switch, be careful not to let dust enter transmission through switch hole.
- Hoist vehicle and disconnect connector from back up light switch.
- Remove back up light switch (1) from transmission rear case.
