Generator Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative (-) cable from battery.
  2. Remove engine cover.
  3. Remove accessory drive belt. Refer to Accessory Drive Belt Removal and Installation .
  4. Remove air cleaner assembly. Refer to AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Disconnect "B" terminal wire (1) and connector (2) from generator (3).
  6. Remove generator (3).
