Lower Arm Removal and Installation: Notes

  1. Hoist vehicle and remove rear wheels. Refer to WHEEL (WITH TIRE) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. For headlight auto leveling model, remove rear height sensor. Refer to HEIGHT SENSOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (IF EQUIPPED) .
  3. Put match marks (1) on lower arm washer (2) and on suspension frame (3) to install the bolts specified in position.
  4. Loosen lower arm mount nut (4).

  5. Remove rear coil spring referring to REAR COIL SPRING AND BUMP STOPPER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Remove suspension rod mount bolt (1) and then lower arm (2).
