Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Flow: Notes

NOTE: Failure to use proper diagnostic and repair procedures when following the diagnostic flow charts can result in extended diagnostic time, false diagnosis results, parts damage, or inappropriate parts replacement.

Be sure to use the correct terminal adapter from the connector test adapter kit (special tool) for resistance or voltage measurement.
Do not try to repair a faulty air bag wire harness if you find an open circuit, defective connector, or damaged terminal. Replace the wire harness as an assembly.

NOTE:

Be sure to perform AIR BAG DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK before starting diagnosis according to each flow.
