Wheels and Tires Caution
WARNING:
Failure to use proper wheel fasteners or to perform
proper maintenance/repair of wheels can cause unsafe operating conditions.
- Replace wheel fasteners only with fasteners having the same part number or their equivalent. Do not use replacement parts of lesser quality or substitute design.
- Tighten wheel fasteners to the specified torque value to assure proper retention of wheels.
- Never attempt to repair any wheel by welding. Excessive heat caused by welding may damage the wheel.
- For vehicle equipped with TPMS, read PRECAUTIONS IN WHEEL AND TIRE SERVICING before servicing wheel and/or tire (including spare tire) and follow all of the instructions provided.
