Radiator Cooling Fan Assembly Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative (-) cable from battery.
  2. Disconnect main fan motor connector (connector color: black) (1) and sub fan motor connector (connector color: gray) (2).

  3. Remove air cleaner assembly and air cleaner outlet hose. Refer to AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Detach P/S fluid reservoir (1) with reservoir bracket and hose connected.
    NOTE: No need to drain P/S fluid.
  5. Disconnect ground terminal (2).
  6. Remove reservoir (3) from radiator.

  7. Remove cooling fan assembly.
