Step Action Yes No
1  Power and ground circuit check of TCM 
  1. Check TCM power and ground circuits.

Is it in good condition? 		 Go to Step 2. Repair power and/or ground circuit.
2  CAN communication circuit check 
  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
  2. Disconnect connector from TCM and BCM.
  3. Check for proper terminal connection to CAN communication circuit at TCM and BCM.
  4. If OK, check CAN communication circuits between TCM connector and BCM connector for breaking.

Is each CAN communication circuit in good condition? 		 Substitute a known-good TCM and recheck. Repair CAN communication circuit.
