Blower Motor Removal and Installation

Blower Unit and Heater Unit Components

Removal

1) Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery.
2) Disable air bag system referring to Disabling Air Bag System Disabling Air Bag System:Advanced Air Bag or Disabling Air Bag System Disabling Air Bag System:Except Advanced Air Bag.
3) Disconnect blower motor lead wire (2) at coupler.
4) Remove blower motor (1) from HVAC unit.





Installation

Blower Motor Inspection
1) Reverse removal procedure for installation.
2) Enable air bag system referring to Enabling Air Bag System Enabling Air Bag System:Advanced Air Bag or Enabling Air Bag System Enabling Air Bag System:Except Advanced Air Bag.
