OCM with Sensor Mat Removal and Installation

WARNING:

The Occupant Classification Module (OCM) is very sensitive to shock. If it is handled roughly when performing service operations, there is a risk of personal injury due to accidental activation of the air bag system or non-activation of the system in the event of a collision.

before starting the service operations and follow all of the instructions provided.

NOTE:

The OCM with sensor mat will not work properly if it is separated from the front passenger seat cushion assembly.

If the OCM with sensor mat is found faulty, replace the front passenger seat cushion assembly with a new one. Do not try to replace the OCM with sensor mat as a separate part.
