Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to REMOVAL PROCEDURE .
  3. Remove the park brake cable bolt from the trailing arm and from the frame. Refer to REMOVAL PROCEDURE .
  4. Remove the trailing arm bracket to body bolts. Refer to TRAILING ARM BRACKET REPLACEMENT .

  5. Remove the trailing arm bushing to bracket nut and bolt.

  6. Remove the trailing arm to knuckle bolts 1.
  7. Remove the trailing arm.
