Installation Procedure

  1. Position the shock to the vehicle.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the upper shock bolt.

    Tightening torque 

    Tighten the bolt to 110 N.m (81 lb ft).

  3. Install the lower shock bolt and nut.

    Tightening torque 

    Tighten the bolt to 110 N.m (81 lb ft). 

  4. Install the rear wheelhouse to the vehicle. Refer to REAR WHEELHOUSE LINER PANEL REPLACEMENT .
  5. Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION PROCEDURE .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
