Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE .
  2. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL PROCEDURE .
  3. Disconnect the anti-lock brake system (ABS) brake wiring harness from the upper control arm.
  4. Remove the rear brake hose routing nut and bolt.

  5. Remove the upper control arm to knuckle nut and bolt.

  6. Remove the upper control to support cam nut and bolt.
  7. Remove the upper control arm.
