Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the applicable camshaft(s). Refer to REMOVAL PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the rocker arms. Refer to VALVE ROCKER ARM REMOVAL - LEFT SIDE .

  3. Remove the lifters. Refer to VALVE LIFTER REMOVAL - LEFT SIDE .
  4. Clean and inspect the camshaft(s), rocker arm(s) and lifter(s). Repair or replace as necessary. Refer to CAMSHAFT CLEANING AND INSPECTION , VALVE LIFTERS CLEANING AND INSPECTION  and VALVE LIFTERS CLEANING AND INSPECTION .
