DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

1	CHECK DOOR SWITCHES INPUT SIGNAL With SDT Check door switches ("DOOR SW-DR", "DOOR SW-AS") in Data list mode with SDT. Refer to [SDT FUNCTION (BCM - DOOR LOCK) ]. When any doors are open: DOOR SW-DR: ON DOOR SW-AS: ON When any doors are closed: DOOR SW-DR: OFF DOOR SW-AS: OFF Without SDT Check voltage between BCM connector M18 or M19 terminals 12, 47 and ground. Is the inspection result normal?	Door switch circuit is OK.	GO TO 2
2	CHECK DOOR SWITCH CIRCUIT Turn ignition switch OFF. Disconnect door switch and BCM. Check continuity between door switch connector B8 (Front LH), B108 (Front RH) terminal 2 and BCM connector M18, M19 terminals 12, 47. 2 - 47: Continuity should exist. 2 - 12: Continuity should exist. Courtesy of SUZUKI OF AMERICA CORP. 4. Check continuity between door switch connector B8 (Front LH), B108 (Front RH) terminal 2 and ground. 2 - Ground: Continuity should not exist. Is the inspection result normal?	GO TO 3	Repair or replace harness.

Is the inspection result normal?	Replace BCM. Refer to [BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE): REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ].	Replace door switch.

When any doors are closed:
DOOR SW-DR: OFF

DOOR SW-AS: OFF

Without SDT
Check voltage between BCM connector M18 or M19 terminals 12, 47 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

Door switch circuit is OK.

GO TO 2

CHECK DOOR SWITCH CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect door switch and BCM.
Check continuity between door switch connector B8 (Front LH), B108 (Front RH) terminal 2 and BCM connector M18, M19 terminals 12, 47.
2 - 47: Continuity should exist.

2 - 12: Continuity should exist.

4. Check continuity between door switch connector B8 (Front LH), B108 (Front RH) terminal 2 and ground.
2 - Ground: Continuity should not exist.

Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 3

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK DOOR SWITCHES

Check continuity between door switch terminals.

Replace BCM. Refer to [BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE): REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ].

Replace door switch.
