Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to [FRONT WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEM: WIRING DIAGRAM ].

1	CHECK FRONT WIPER MOTOR FUSE  Turn the ignition switch OFF. Check that the following fuse is not blown. Is the fuse blown?	Replace the fuse after repairing the affected circuit.	GO TO 2
2	CHECK FRONT WIPER MOTOR (LO) OUTPUT VOLTAGE  SDT ACTIVE TEST Turn the ignition switch ON. Courtesy of SUZUKI OF AMERICA CORP. 2. Select "FRONT WIPER" of IPDM E/R active test item. 3. While operating the test item, check voltage between IPDM E/R harness connector and ground. Courtesy of SUZUKI OF AMERICA CORP. Is the measurement value normal?	GO TO 3	Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to [IPDM E/R (INTELLIGENT POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE ENGINE ROOM): REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ]
3	CHECK FRONT WIPER MOTOR (LO) OPEN CIRCUIT  Turn the ignition switch OFF. Disconnect IPDM E/R and front wiper motor. Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector and front wiper motor harness connector.   Does continuity exist?	Replace front wiper motor. Refer to [WIPER MOTOR AND LINKAGE: ON-VEHICLE REPAIR ].	Repair or replace harness.
