Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to FRONT FOG LAMP SYSTEM: WIRING DIAGRAM .

1	CHECK FRONT FOG LAMP FUSE  Turn the ignition switch OFF. Check that the following fuses are not open. Is the fuse open?	Repair the harness and replace the fuse.	GO TO 2
2	CHECK FRONT FOG LAMP OUTPUT VOLTAGE  Turn the ignition switch OFF. Courtesy of SUZUKI OF AMERICA CORP. 2. Disconnect the front fog lamp connector. 3. Turn the ignition switch ON. 4. Turn the front fog lamps ON. 5. Check the voltage between the fog lamp connector and ground. Courtesy of SUZUKI OF AMERICA CORP. Is battery voltage present?	GO TO 4	GO TO 3
3	CHECK FRONT FOG LAMP OPEN CIRCUIT  Turn the ignition switch OFF. Courtesy of SUZUKI OF AMERICA CORP. 2. Disconnect IPDM E/R connector. 3. Check continuity between the IPDM E/R harness connector and the front fog lamp harness connector. Courtesy of SUZUKI OF AMERICA CORP. Does continuity exist?	Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to [IPDM E/R (INTELLIGENT POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE ENGINE ROOM): REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ].	Repair the harnesses or connectors.
4	CHECK FRONT FOG LAMP GROUND CIRCUIT  Disconnect the front fog lamp connector. Courtesy of SUZUKI OF AMERICA CORP. 2. Check continuity between the front fog lamp harness connector terminal and ground. Courtesy of SUZUKI OF AMERICA CORP. Does continuity exist?	Inspect the fog lamp bulb.	Repair the harness.
