Parking brake

Check that lever has proper travel.

WARNING: If you do not take proper precautions when testing the parking brake on a slope, the vehicle could move unexpectedly, causing personal injury and/or property damage. When testing the parking brake on a slope, be sure to take the following precautions:

Make sure there is nothing in the way in the downhill direction.
Apply the service brake quickly if the vehicle moves.

Check to ensure that parking brake is fully effective when the vehicle is stopped on the safe slope and brake lever is pulled all the way.
