DTC Troubleshooting

DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION AND PROCEDURES REFERENCE CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to ENGINE AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM CHECK .
2  Registration data check 
  1. Turn OFF ignition switch and connect scan tool to DLC.
  2. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
  3. Check registered VIN data. Refer to REGISTERED VIN DATA CHECK (EVAP LEAK CHECK MODEL) .

Is registered VIN data correct? 		 Go to Step 3. Resister correct VIN data to ECM. Refer to VIN REGISTRATION (EVAP LEAK CHECK MODEL) .
3  DTC recheck 
  1. Clear DTC. Refer to DTC CLEARANCE .
  2. Recheck DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK .

Is DTC P0630 still indicated? 		 Check ECM power and ground circuits. Refer to ECM Power and Ground Circuit Check .
If OK, substitute a known-good ECM and recheck DTC		 End.
