C1034/C1039: SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING REFERENCE CHART

| 2 | DTC check for ESP®
Are DTC U0073 and/or U0123 detected? |
Go to applicable DTC troubleshooting. | Go to Step 3. |
| 3 | Check fuse Is circuit fuse for yaw rate/G sensor in good condition? |
Go to Step 4. | Replace fuse and check for short circuit to ground. |
| 4 | Check yaw rate/G sensor power supply circuit
Is it 10 - 14 V? |
Go to Step 5. | "GRN/ORN" wire circuit open or high resistance. |
| 5 | Check yaw rate/G sensor ground circuit
Is resistance less than 2 Ω? |
Substitute a known-good yaw rate/G sensor and recheck. If DTC C1034 and/or C1039 is still detected, substitute a known-good ESP® hydraulic unit/control module assembly and recheck. | "BLK/ORN" wire circuit open or high resistance. |
