Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Removal and Installation: Removal
WARNING:
Touching exhaust system components when they are still hot may cause burns. Make sure the exhaust system has cooled down before removing the HO2S.
- Disconnect negative cable at battery.
- Hoist vehicle.
- Disconnect HO2S connector (1) and remove its bracket.
- Remove exhaust No. 1 pipe (2). See EXHAUST PIPE AND MUFFLER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
- Remove HO2S (3) from exhaust No. 1 pipe.
