Air Fuel Ratio (A/F) Sensor Removal and Installation: Removal
WARNING:
Touching exhaust system components when they are still hot may cause burns. Make sure the exhaust system has cooled down before removing the A/F sensor.
- Disconnect negative cable at battery.
- Remove condenser cooling fan.
- Automatic A/C model: See CONDENSER COOLING FAN REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
- Manual A/C model: See CONDENSER COOLING FAN REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
- Remove exhaust manifold cover. See EXHAUST MANIFOLD REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
- Disconnect A/F sensor connector.
- Remove A/F sensor (1) from exhaust manifold.
