DTC Table

NOTE:
  • The DTC No. with asterisk (*) does not memorize history DTC.
  • When BCM detects DTC B1120, display "SERVICE BCM SYSTEM" on the information display in combination meter to warn the driver.
DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

DTC DTC name DTC detecting condition
B1120* BCM Internal Defect BCM internal failure.
B1132 5 V System Voltage too Low "G05-8" terminal voltage is lower than 2.5 V for specified time continuously.
B1133 Battery Voltage too High Backup power supply circuit voltage from "DOME" fuse is continuously higher than 16.0 V for specified time.
B1141 Outside Air Temperature (Ambient Temperature) Sensor Circuit Open Outside air temperature sensor signal circuit voltage is higher than 4.85 V for specified time continuously.
B1142 Outside Air Temperature (Ambient Temperature) Sensor Circuit Short to Ground Outside air temperature sensor signal circuit voltage is lower than 0.15 V for specified time continuously.
B1145 A/C Evaporator Temperature Sensor Circuit High Evaporator temperature sensor signal circuit voltage is higher than 4.85 V for specified time continuously.
B1146 A/C Evaporator Temperature Sensor Circuit Low Evaporator temperature sensor signal circuit voltage is lower than 0.15 V for specified time continuously.
B1157 Air Bag Deployment Signal Input Air bag deployment signal is fed from SDM to BCM.
B1670* Rain/Light Sensor Malfunction BCM detected malfunction related to rain/light sensor.
B1680 CAN Invalid Data from ECM BCM detected abnormality in control data transmitted by ECM through CAN communication.
B1681 CAN Invalid Data from TCM BCM detected abnormality in control data transmitted by TCM through CAN communication.
B1682 CAN Invalid Data from 4WD Control Module BCM detected abnormality in control data transmitted by 4WD control module through CAN communication.
B1683* Yaw Rate Information Mismatched Difference between target yaw rate calculated by BCM and actual yaw rate transmitted from ESP® control module via CAN communication is continuously higher than specified value for specified time.
B1684 CAN Invalid Data from P/S Control Module BCM detected abnormality in control data transmitted by P/S control module through CAN communication.
B1685* CAN Invalid Data from ESP® Control Module
  • ESP® active signal from ESP® control module continues for more than specified time.
  • BCM detected abnormality in control data transmitted by ESP® control module through CAN communication.
B1686* CAN Invalid Data from Longitudinal G Sensor BCM detected abnormality in longitudinal G data transmitted by ESP® control module through CAN communication.
B1687* CAN Invalid Data from Lateral G Sensor BCM detected abnormality in lateral G data transmitted by ESP® control module through CAN communication.
B1688* CAN Invalid Data from Yaw Rate Sensor BCM detected abnormality in yaw rate data transmitted by ESP® control module through CAN communication.
B1689* CAN Invalid Data from Wheel Speed Sensor BCM detected abnormality in wheel speed data transmitted by ESP® control module through CAN communication.
B1690* Steering Angle Sensor Malfunction
  • Steering angle sensor malfunction is detected.
  • Incomplete calibration of steering angle sensor is detected.
B1691 CAN Invalid Data from Steering Angle Sensor BCM received abnormal CAN communication data from steering angle sensor.
B1692 CAN Invalid Data from Steering Angle Sensor BCM received abnormal CAN communication data from steering angle sensor.
B1693 CAN Invalid Data from P/S Control Module BCM received abnormal CAN communication data from P/S control module.
B1694 CAN Invalid Data from P/S Control Module BCM received abnormal CAN communication data from P/S control module.
B1695 CAN Invalid Data from ESP® Control Module BCM received abnormal CAN communication data from ESP® control module.

B1901* Internal Control Module Memory Check Sum Error BCM internal failure. (check sum error)
B1902* Control Module Programming Error BCM internal failure. (programming error)
U0073 Control Module Communication Bus Off BCM fails to transmit and receive the data via CAN for specified time continuously.
U0100 Lost Communication with ECM Receiving error of the data from ECM via CAN for specified time continuously.
U0101 Lost Communication with TCM Receiving error of the data from TCM via CAN for specified time continuously.
U0114 Lost Communication with 4-Wheel Drive Control Module Receiving error of the data from 4WD control module via CAN for specified time continuously.
U0121 Lost Communication with ABS/ESP® Control Module Receiving error of the data from ESP® control module via CAN for specified time continuously.
U0126 Lost Communication with Steering Angle Sensor Receiving error of the data from steering angle sensor via CAN for specified time continuously.
U0131 Lost Communication with Power Steering Control Module Receiving error of the data from P/S control module via CAN for specified time continuously.
U0141 Lost Communication with Body Control Module "keyless start" Receiving error of the data from keyless start control module via CAN for specified time continuously.
U0151 Lost Communication with Restraints Control Module Receiving error of the data from SDM via CAN for specified time continuously.
U0155 Lost Communication with Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module Receiving error of the data from combination meter via CAN for specified time continuously.
U0164 Lost Communication with HVAC Control Module Receiving error of the data from HVAC control module via CAN for specified time continuously.
U0231 Lost Communication with Rain Sensing Module Receiving error of the data from rain/light sensor via CAN for specified time continuously.
