Desiccant Removal and Installation

Removal

1) Recover refrigerant from A/C system referring to "Recovery" in Service and Repair Operation Procedure for Refrigerant Charge.
2) Remove condenser assembly (1). Condenser Assembly Removal and Installation
3) Remove circlip (2), and then remove filter cap (3) from receiver (5).
4) Remove desiccant (4).






Installation

Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.

- Do not remove desiccant from plastic bag until just before inserting it into receiver.
- Install new desiccant, new O-ring and new filter cap.
- Apply specified compressor oil to O-ring.

Compressor oil: 99000-99022-00E (Compressor oil (DH-PS, 250cc))

- Evacuate and charge A/C system referring to "Evacuation" and "Charge" in Service and Repair Operation Procedure for Refrigerant Charge.
