CVT Basic Check




CVT Basic Check

Perform troubleshooting referring to the following points when no DTC is detected in TCM and no abnormality is found in Visual Inspection Visual Inspection. Follow the flow carefully.


1. Was "CVT System Check" preformed?
YES
Go to Step 2.
NO
Go to CVT System Check CVT System Check.
2. Road test
Perform road test. Road Test
Is it OK?
YES
Go to Step 3.
NO
Refer to items in Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures CVT Symptom Diagnosis
, repair or replace defective parts.
3. Stall test
Perform stall test. Stall Test
Is it OK?
YES
Go to Step 4.
NO
Repair or replace defective parts, and go to Step 6.
4. Time lag test
Perform time lag test. Time Lag Test
Is it OK?
YES
Go to Step 5.
NO
Repair or replace defective parts, and go to Step 6.
5. Line pressure test
Perform line pressure test. Line Pressure Test
Is it OK?
YES
Go to Step 6.
NO
Repair or replace defective parts, and go to Step 6.
6. CVT symptom diagnosis
Is trouble symptom identified?
YES
Refer to items in Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures CVT Symptom Diagnosis
, repair or replace defective parts.
NO
