DTC P0601 / P0607 / P062F / P2610

NOTE:

After reprogramming of ECM is executed, if the DTC P0601 is indicated, it is possible that the reprogramming of ECM is not completed correctly.

DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area






System Description

Internal control module is installed in ECM.

DTC Confirmation Procedure

1) Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
2) Start engine, if possible.

DTC Troubleshooting


1. DTC recheck
Clear DTC. DTC Clearance
Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "OFF".
Perform DTC confirmation procedure, and check DTC.
Is DTC P0601, P0607, P062F, or P2610 still detected?
YES
Go to Step 2.
NO
Check for intermittent trouble. Intermittent Connection and Poor Contact Inspection
2. ECM power and ground circuit check
Check ECM power and ground circuit. Component Tests and General Diagnostics
Is it in good condition?
YES
Replace ECM and recheck DTC. Service and Repair
NO
Repair or replace defective wire harness.
