DTC Troubleshooting


1. Was "ESP (R) System Check" performed?
YES
Go to Step 2.
NO
Go to ESP System Check ESP (R) System Check.
2. DTC check
Perform DTC Check DTC Check.
Is there DTC(s) other than C1092?
YES
Go to applicable DTC troubleshooting.
NO
Go to Step 3.
3. DTC check for TCM
Check DTC for TCM.
Is any DTC(s) detected?
YES
Go to applicable DTC troubleshooting.
NO
Substitute a known-good TCM and recheck DTC.
Substitute a known-good ESP (R) control module if DTC C1092 is still detected. ESP Hydraulic Unit / Control Module Assembly Removal and Installation
