DTC Troubleshooting


1. Was "ESP (R) System Check" performed?
YES
Go to Step 2.
NO
Go to ESP System Check ESP (R) System Check.
2. DTC check
Perform DTC Check DTC Check.
Is there DTC(s) other than C1090, C1091 or C1094?
YES
Go to applicable DTC troubleshooting.
NO
Go to Step 3.
3. DTC check for ECM
Check DTC for ECM.
Is DTC U0073 or U0121 detected?
YES
Go to Powertrain Management DTC U0073 or Powertrain Management DTC U0121.
NO
Substitute a known-good ESP (R) control module and recheck DTC. ESP Hydraulic Unit / Control Module Assembly Removal and Installation
