DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area






DTC Troubleshooting


1. Was "Air Bag Diagnostic System Check" performed?
YES
Go to Step 2.
NO
Go to Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check.
2. SDM connector check
Check proper connection of SDM connector and "Connection detection pin" of SDM connector.
Is it in good condition?
YES
Replace SDM with new one. SDM Removal and Installation
NO
Check intermittent trouble. Intermittent Connection and Poor Contact Inspection

NOTE:

Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.

- Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
- Clear DTCs, referring to DTC Clearance DTC Clearance
if any DTC is detected.
- Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check Air Bag Diagnostic System Check
to confirm that the trouble has been solved.
