Detection pump circuit check
- Turn OFF ignition switch and disconnect connectors from EVAP leak check module and ECM.
- Check for proper terminal connection to EVAP leak check module and ECM connectors.
- If connections are OK, check that EVAP leak detection pump drive circuit (C1) and ground circuit (C2) is as follows.
- Wiring harness resistance of each EVAP leak detection pump drive circuit and ground circuit is less than 3 Ω.
- Insulation resistance of EVAP leak detection pump drive circuit is infinity between EVAP leak check module connector and vehicle body ground.
- Insulation resistance of wire harness is infinity between EVAP leak detection pump drive circuit terminal and each terminal at EVAP leak check module connector.
- Circuit voltage of EVAP leak detection pump drive circuit is 0 - 1 V with ignition switch in ON position.
