Front Brake Pad: Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the front wheel and tire. Refer to [TIRE ROTATION ]
  2. Remove master cylinder reservoir cap.
  3. Partially drain brake fluid.
  4. Remove caliper sliding pin bolts using power tool.
  5. Support the caliper body with a suitable wire to avoid pulling on the front brake hose.
  6. Remove the front inner and outer brake pads, shim, shim covers, pad return spring and retainers from the torque member.
