Diagnosis Procedure

1	CHECK INTERIOR ROOM LAMP CONTROL OUTPUT SDT Turn ignition switch ON. Select "INT LAMP" of BCM (INT LAMP) active test item. Interior room lamp control circuit is operating normally.	GO TO 3
2	CHECK INTERIOR ROOM LAMP CONTROL OPEN CIRCUIT Turn ignition switch OFF. Courtesy of SUZUKI OF AMERICA CORP.SUZUKI OF AMERICA CORP. 2. Disconnect BCM connector M20, room lamp 2nd row connector and front room/map lamp connector (if equipped). 3. Check continuity between BCM connector M20 terminal 63 and interior room lamp connectors. Refer to [BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE): REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ] If NG, replace the interior room lamp. Refer to [INTERIOR ROOM LAMP: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION [WITH POWER DOOR LOCKS] ].	Repair the harness or connectors.
3	CHECK INTERIOR ROOM LAMP CONTROL SHORT CIRCUIT Turn ignition switch OFF. Courtesy of SUZUKI OF AMERICA CORP. 2. Disconnect BCM connector M20, room lamp 2nd row connector and front room/map lamp connector (if equipped). 3. Check continuity between BCM connector M20 terminal 63 and ground. Is the inspection result normal?	Check interior room lamp for a short circuit. If OK, replace the BCM. Refer to [BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE): REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ] If NG, replace the interior room lamp. Refer to [INTERIOR ROOM LAMP: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION [WITH POWER DOOR LOCKS] ].	Repair the harness or connectors.

GO TO 3

CHECK INTERIOR ROOM LAMP CONTROL OPEN CIRCUIT

2. Disconnect BCM connector M20, room lamp 2nd row connector and front room/map lamp connector (if equipped).
3. Check continuity between BCM connector M20 terminal 63 and interior room lamp connectors.

Is the inspection result normal?

Check interior room lamp for an open. If OK, replace the BCM. Refer to [BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE): REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ] If NG, replace the interior room lamp. Refer to [INTERIOR ROOM LAMP: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION [WITH POWER DOOR LOCKS] ].

Repair the harness or connectors.

CHECK INTERIOR ROOM LAMP CONTROL SHORT CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch OFF.

Is the inspection result normal?
