Component Function Check

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE CHART

Step Action YES NO
CHECK HEADLAMP (HI) OPERATION 
  1. WITHOUT CONTULT-III
    1. Start IPDM E/R auto active test. Refer to [DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM (IPDM E/R): DIAGNOSIS DESCRIPTION ].
    2. Check that the headlamp switches to the high beam.
      NOTE: HI/LO is repeated 1 second each when using the IPDM E/R auto active test.
  2. SDT
    1. Select "EXTERNAL LAMP" of IPDM E/R active test item.
    2. With the test item operating, check that the headlamp switches to high beam.

      HI: Headlamp switches to the high beam. 

      OFF: Headlamp OFF 


Does the headlamp switch to high beam? 
Headlamp (HI) circuit is normal. Refer to [Diagnosis Procedure ].
