Diagnosis Procedure

NOTE: Before performing the diagnosis, check that the following is normal.
  • High beam lamp function
  • Parking brake warning lamp
  • Engine operation status
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE CHART

Step Action YES NO
COMBINATION SWITCH (LIGHTING AND TURN SIGNAL) INSPECTION 
Check the combination switch. Refer to [COMBINATION SWITCH CIRCUIT CHECK ]
Is the combination switch (lighting and turn signal switch) normal? 
GO TO 2 Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
CHECK DAYTIME LIGHT REQUEST SIGNAL INPUT 
SDT data list
  1. Select "HL HI REQ" of IPDM E/R data list item.
  2. With operating the lighting switch, check the monitor status.

Is the item status normal? 
GO TO 3 Replace BCM. Refer to [BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE): REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ]
DAYTIME LIGHT RELAY CIRCUIT INSPECTION 
Check the daytime light relay circuit. Refer to [Daytime Light Relay Circuit Check ].
Is the daytime light relay circuit normal? 
Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to [IPDM E/R (INTELLIGENT POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE ENGINE ROOM): REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ] Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
