P2228, P2229 DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

DTC detecting condition Trouble area
DTC P2228: Barometric Pressure Circuit Low 
Output voltage of EVAP leak check pressure sensor signal circuit is lower than 0.47 V for 5 sec.
(2 D/C detection logic)
  • EVAP leak check pressure sensor (in EVAP leak check module) and/or its circuit
  • ECM
DTC P2229: Barometric Pressure Circuit High 
Output voltage of EVAP leak check pressure sensor signal circuit is more than 4.7 V for 5 sec.
