Fuel Pipe Removal and Installation: Removal
- Relieve fuel pressure in fuel feed line. See FUEL PRESSURE RELIEF PROCEDURE .
- Disconnect negative (-) cable from battery.
- Disconnect fuel hose (1) from fuel pipe (2) at front and rear of each fuel pipe. See FUEL HOSE DISCONNECTING AND RECONNECTING .
- Mark location of clamps (3) on fuel pipes (2), so that clamps can be reinstalled to where they were.
- Remove clamps (3) from vehicle body, fuel pipes and brake pipes.CAUTION: Be careful not to bent and damage fuel pipes and brake pipes when removing clamp.
- Remove fuel pipe (2).
