Radiator Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative (-) cable from battery.
  2. For 4 A/T model, drain A/T fluid, see A/T FLUID CHANGE .
  3. Drain coolant, see COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING .
  4. Remove cooling fan assembly. "RADIATOR COOLING FAN ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION "
  5. For 4 A/T model, remove A/T fluid cooler hoses.
  6. Remove radiator inlet hose and outlet hose from radiator.
  7. Remove front grill, see FRONT BUMPER COMPONENTS .
  8. Remove condenser upper brackets (1) and lower brackets (2) from radiator.

  9. Remove radiator from vehicle.
