Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) Switch (for 4WD Control Module) Inspection and Adjustment

Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) Switch (for 4WD Control Module) Removal and Installation

Inspection

Check for resistance between terminals under each condition below. If check result is not satisfactory, replace.

Clutch pedal position (CPP) switch (for 4WD control module) resistance
When switch shaft is pushed (1): Continuity
When switch shaft is free (2): No continuity






Adjustment

1) Loosen lock nut of clutch pedal position (CPP) switch (for 4WD control module) (1) while clutch pedal not depressed.
2) Using ohmmeter, adjust position of clutch pedal position (CPP) switch (for 4WD control module) so that it may become continuity within range of clutch pedal travel "a".

"a": 116 - 130 mm (4.52 - 5.11 in.)











3) After adjusting, tighten lock nut to specified torque.

Tightening torque
Clutch switch lock nut (a): 7.5 Nm (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 lbf-ft)
