DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area






DTC Confirmation Procedure

1) Turn ignition switch to ON position for 10 sec.

DTC Troubleshooting


1. Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?
YES
Go to Step 2.
NO
Go to Engine and Emission Control System Check Engine and Emission Control System Check.
2. Registration data check
Turn OFF ignition switch and connect scan tool to DLC.
Turn ignition switch to ON position.
Check registered VIN data. Registered VIN Data Check (EVAP-Leak-Check Model)
Is registered VIN data correct?
YES
Go to Step 3.
NO
Resister correct VIN data to ECM. Programming and Relearning
3. DTC recheck
Clear DTC. DTC Clearance
Recheck DTC. DTC Check
Is DTC P0630 still indicated?
YES
Check ECM power and ground circuits. Component Tests and General Diagnostics
If OK, substitute a known-good ECM and recheck.
NO
End.
