Front Internal Gear Cleaning and Inspection

Clean the front internal gear and overrun roller clutch assembly in solvent and air dry.
Inspect the front internal gear for the following:
- Clutch teeth for notches or grooves that prevent the clutch disc from sliding
- Ring gear teeth for excessive wear, damage, or chipped teeth
- Metal debris embedded in the ring gear teeth
- Overrun clutch roller surface for roughness or wear
Replace the front internal gear if any of the above conditions are found.

Inspect the overrun roller clutch rollers for wear or damage.
Replace the overrun roller clutch if faulty.
