Vibration at Idle

DIAGNOSTIC TABLE - VIBRATION AT IDLE

Condition Action
DEFINITION: Vibration at base idle.
Engine and or Transaxle mounts Inspect the engine and or transaxle for loose, damaged or missing mounts. Repair as necessary.
Exhaust System Inspect the complete exhaust system for proper installation and/or damage.
Drivetrain "grounded out" to or on the vehicle chassis Inspect the compete drive-train for signs of physical contact. Correct as necessary.
Drive Axles Inspect both drive axles for proper installation and/or damage. Repair as necessary.
Engine Flexplate Inspect the flexplate for damage, excessive run-out. Correct as necessary.
Base Engine Inspect the engine for any base level concerns. Repair as necessary.
