Low-Pressure Flexible A/C Hose




Low-Pressure Flexible A/C Hose: Removal and Installation

Removal

1) Remove the front right wheel and tire. Refer to [Wheel and Tire Assembly: Adjustment] Wheel and Tire Assembly Adjustment.
2) Remove the front right mud guard (VQ40DE only). Refer to [Mudguard: Removal and Installation] Service and Repair.
3) Remove the front right splash shield (VQ40DE only). Refer to [Front Fender Protector: Removal and Installation] Front Fender Protector Removal and Installation.
4) Discharge the refrigerant. Refer to [HFC-134a (R-134a) Service Procedure] Service and Repair.

CAUTION:
Cap or wrap the joint of the pipe with suitable material such as vinyl tape to avoid the entry of air.

5) Remove the low-pressure flexible A/C hose.

Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Refer to [Refrigeration System: Component] Component.

CAUTION:

- Replace the O-ring of the low-pressure flexible A/C hose with a new one, then apply compressor oil to it for installation.
- After charging refrigerant, check for leaks.
